Mission: The mission of the Property Team is preserving the place where God’s children can feel His presence, share His gifts and do His work.
Vision: The vision of the Property Team involves maintaining stability in the midst of a culture of a congregation that involves multiple, diverse and continually evolving leadership. In order for the demands and needs of the property of Holy Cross to be met in this challenging environment, it is critical that the policies and procedures that are in place be based on good judgment and as widely accepted as reasonable. The current team’s goals are congruent with establishing this critical foundation.
Obligations: Congregational events clean-up in the spring and fall, facilities, management, property maintenance, review of projects, building maintenance, custodial support, and Snow Teams. The Property Team is responsible for the behind-the-scenes work that makes the facilities of Holy Cross available for use such as the budget includes funding of fire suppression system service contracts, HVAC service contracts, equipment maintenance and repair, as well as paying monthly utilities like water, electricity, and garbage removal. Additionally the costs for liability insurance come from the Property Team budget.
