Mission Statement
The mission of the Outreach Team is to empower the Holy Cross family to identify, reach out to and support the needs of God's creation.
Vision Statement
The visions of the Outreach team are to encourage and educate the Holy Cross members and friends to meet the social needs in the surrounding community. We seek to lead congregational support through prayers, actions, financial and material donations.
Goals
Goals for the team include newly created ideas (school related), Habitat for Humanity, continue serving the local and world-wide community.
The Outreach Team coordinates several activities towards this mission:
- Adopt-A-Family
- Serving at the Banquet (breakfast & supper)
- Coordinating Drives to stock the Food Pantry
- Humane Society
- Family Connection Hospitality House
- Promote Fair Trade coffee
- school supply drive
The continuing goal of the Outreach Team is to represent Holy Cross to the community in a positive light that people may experience God and His mercy by witnessing our deeds.
