It is the mission of the Stewardship Team to help people grow in faith as trustees of God's generous gifts.
Vision Statement
As a Stewardship Team, our vision is to help the worshipping community of Holy Cross grow in a trusting relationship with God--realizing all that we have and all that we are is a gift from God. We hope to empower the Holy Cross community in generosity through Stewardship education, identifying congregational giftedness and encouraging givers in their Stewardship journey.
Objectives and Goals
- Identify the gifts that members have
- Educate members on spiritual gifts
- Survey members for talents
- Get the information to the teams that can use these talents
- Educate congregation in the biblical truth of Stewardship
- Connecting faith with finances
- Increase Giving
As a team they are responsible to educate the congregation on the meaning of Stewardship.
The Stewardship Team strives to educate by presenting Biblical mandate on giving of time, talents and financial resources. To encourage by helping people identify their God-given gifts, and how they can use them to better Holy Cross and all those in need.
