Thank you for your faithful response to the "Growing With the Spirit" debt reduction campaign. The effects are felt throughout the congregation - youth and adults.

Pledges for 2006

The “Growing with the Spirit” campaign has reached new levels for Holy Cross as commitment cards continue to come in. As of December 22, we have received a total of 355 cards. The Mission and Ministry fund for 2006 has topped $500,000 now with a total of $505,244.08. The Mission and Ministry fund for 2006 combines the Mission and Ministry fund and Building Funds from 2005 into one. The Debt Reduction fund for 2006 has reached $682,425.35 for the three years. What does this mean for Holy Cross? Mike Dircksen put together an amortization schedule for our current building debt that shows we can save over $563,000.00 in interest over the next three years with the commitments we now have. The follow up team will be using this tool to help keep you informed on the progress and savings through the next three years.

The spirit of Holy Cross is truly amazing. Advent is a time of waiting for the birth of our Savior. We will surely have an advent season for the next three years reducing the debt but it will come. We need to pray and work diligently to keep our commitments to the Lord’s work using our time, talents and treasurers to the best of God’s ability.

Cross Trainers

As of April 1, the Cross Trainers students have contributed $303 to the "Growing With the Spirit" campaign through their helping hands project. Adults, please thank a child for their mission to Holy Cross. Parents, please continue to encourage your child’s participation. Kids, keep the spirit of giving alive and well!
