High School Youth Ministry Opportunities:
High School Youth Group: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Weekly High School Youth Group is an organized and structured time focused on the building of supportive and life affirming relationships. Components of high school youth group include:
an intentional time of devotion and discussion
praying for each other, the wider church, and the world
an activity or service project intended to engage the student in thinking about how their faith interacts with their daily lives a wrap-up discussion reflecting upon the activity or project
Peer Ministry: Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
Peer Ministry is a ministry that equips youth and young adults with listening skills to minister to their peers. This is a face This is a face-to- face, learn-by-doing, skill-by-skill experience. No lectures. No power points. No white boards. You learn Peer Ministry Leadership skills by entering into life and faith experiences with everyone in the room. A circle of chairs, engaging exercises, working in pairs, a series of life sharing conversations as you use the skills you are learning, deepening faith, and yes… always fun.
