High School Youth Ministry Opportunities:

(9-12th Grades)

High School Youth Group: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Weekly High School Youth Group is an organized and structured time focused on the building of supportive and life affirming relationships. Components of high school youth group include:

  • an intentional time of devotion and discussion

  • praying for each other, the wider church, and the world

  • an activity or service project intended to engage the student in thinking about how their faith interacts with their daily lives a wrap-up discussion reflecting upon the activity or project

Peer Ministry: Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

Peer Ministry is a ministry that equips youth and young adults with listening skills to minister to their peers. This is a face This is a face-to- face, learn-by-doing, skill-by-skill experience. No lectures. No power points. No white boards. You learn Peer Ministry Leadership skills by entering into life and faith experiences with everyone in the room. A circle of chairs, engaging exercises, working in pairs, a series of life sharing conversations as you use the skills you are learning, deepening faith, and yes… always fun.

  • daily apply relational ministry skills
