Voting member as defined by our Constitution:
Voting members are confirmed members. Such confirmed members, during the current or preceding calendar year, shall have communed in this congregation and shall have made a contribution of record to this congregation. Members of this congregation who have satisfied these basic standards shall have the privilege of voice and vote at every regular and special meeting of the congregation as well as the other rights and privileges ascribed to voting members by the provisions of this constitution and its bylaws.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING OF HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, SIOUX FALLS, SD
NOTICE IS GIVEN that a special congregational meeting of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, SD has been called by the Congregational Council to be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.
The purpose of the special meeting is as follows:
To amend the Constitution of the congregation to, among other things, authorize congregational meetings and congregational council meetings to be held by remote communications, effective retroactive to March 16, 2020, as fully set forth in the proposed Amendment to the Constitution which is posted on the Church’s website and will be emailed to all Members who have registered with the Church for congregational email notices.
No other business may be transacted at the special meeting.
Pursuant to the Church’s Constitution, this Notice needs to be given at the services of worship on the preceding two consecutive Sundays.
